This is a consulting assignment in Uppsala for about 50% where you will be employed as a consultant by Jurek Talents or have the opportunity to work as a subcontractor. As a consultant with us at Jurek, you are employed by us and rented out to one or more of our various clients. In the role of interim accounting manager, you will be responsible for ongoing accounting and ensure accurate bookkeeping, reporting, and monthly reconciliations. You will become a key person in the finance function and work closely with the accounting assistant who manages the ongoing bookkeeping, as well as the CEO, management team, and department heads.

Your main tasks include, among others:

• Responsibility for ongoing bookkeeping and chart of accounts

• Monthly and annual closing including reconciliations

• Preparation of financial reports and materials for management as well as budget/forecast

• Group accounting

We are looking for someone who is confident, self-driven, and structured. You are used to quickly getting into new systems and processes and working in a role with many points of contact. You have good communication skills and a high sense of service, as well as the ability to prioritize in a dynamic everyday life.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Relevant academic or vocational education in accounting/economics

• Several years of experience in qualified accounting work where you have independently worked with monthly and annual closings

• Experience in group accounting

• Good experience with accounting systems and digital tools

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

Assignment duration: at least one month, with a possible extension

Location: just outside central Uppsala, on-site at the client company. Flexible on which days/times the work is done (weekdays during the day). Free parking is available as well as good bus connections.
